An independent studio, without the agency overhead.
We design, write and build websites for small and medium businesses, then look after them: the craft of a web design agency, without account managers, templates or lock-in.
Why Soboku
Soboku (素朴) is Japanese for honest simplicity: things made plainly and well, without decoration, so the material and the purpose speak for themselves. It’s how we design and build every website.
What we stand for
You talk to the person doing the work.
No account managers and no hand-offs. Questions get a straight answer within one working day.
A fixed price, agreed up front.
You know what it costs and what’s included before we start. No surprises at the end.
Yours to keep.
Your domain, your words, your site. Plain, standard code that any developer can take over.
Remote by design
We work with businesses in the UK, the US and Germany, in English and German. Calls, previews and changes all happen online, on your time zone.
Every site is built to run on its own: no plugins to update and nothing that breaks while nobody is looking.
